The staff play a vital role in the success and smooth running of the Omega European Masters, contributing to the various aspects that make the tournament a world-class event.
Their dedication, expertise and teamwork help to ensure that players and spectators can enjoy an exceptional experience.
In total, 320 people are involved in the event. The construction staff start building all the infrastructure three weeks before the start of the tournament and finish dismantling it a week later.
During the week of the tournament, work tasks are divided into several sectors, about ten in total, under the supervision of the sector manager in question.
These include marshals, mobile scoreboard and leaderboard marshals, steward marshals, club house marshals, transport marshals, entry marshals, ticketing marshals, reception marshals and general organization marshals.
Most of the staff are Swiss, both French- and German-speaking, but a few people from abroad also come for the week.
Their attention to detail, professionalism and passion for the sport help create an unforgettable tournament that not only showcases the skills of the world's best golfers, but also fosters a sense of community and enthusiasm among spectators and participants alike.
